The Newbridge Silverware and Museum of Style Icons is a unique museum containing an authentic collection of fashion and cinema clothing memorabilia, that has been collated over a ten year period. It is an intimate museum that is devoted to design and style excellence. The museum is located on the first floor of the Newbridge Silverware showroom. It is a collection that is continually expanding.
The bright and airy exhibition area houses a fabulous collection of signature pieces and iconic outfits from the silver screen and the stage, as well as associated artefacts. It is in fact home to the most extensive private collection of Aubrey Hepburn items in the world. The exhibition also includes a substantial private paper collection from Aubrey Hepburn, it has been conserved and is carefully presented. Some of the artists featured here are from the great golden oldies such as, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Judy Garland and Elizabeth Taylor, as well as more recent artists like Michael Jackson, Joan Collins, the Kardashians, the cast of Mad Men and many more. The collection is professionally displayed in lovely glass lit cases, and there is lots of information about the items on display. In addition to the impressive permanent collection there are often visiting temporary exhibitions. Visitors are encouraged to photograph these beautiful dresses and gowns.
The museum is open daily with free entry. The best way to experience this attraction is with a guided tour and there are limited numbers available each day. These tours enhance a visit here as visitors are informed on the stories behind the collection and all about the treasured garments. These guided tours need to be booked in advance.

Also located here are the Newbridge Silver showrooms that hold the complete, wonderful and extensive product range that includes, giftware, jewellery and cutlery. For seventy years they have been designing and producing the finest giftware and tableware, all the luxury items for sale are made on-site by the company’s craftsmen. They also hold a range of exclusive items that are only available here.
The award winning Silver Restaurant is open daily, and is located next to the museum. The setting is bright and cosy and it has a friendly atmosphere. Food is served throughout the day and visitors can choose from a choice of tasty dishes and delicious homemade cooks and treats. All items are made onsite and prepared using local ingredients and produce.
