We are one week back into the normal swing of things and think often of our trip to Ireland. While not unique, our trip was a traditional golf trip under the guise of a “couples’ trip”. If we didn’t take our spouses, I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t have been able to go. The hybrid nature of our trip gave me the most concern. I knew that Fairways and Fundays was very qualified to put together a traditional golf trip, but the success of this trip hinged on both golfers and “tourists” having a great time. This required balancing golf locations, tee times, sightseeing opportunities, and multiple reservations (spa, dining, tourist attractions). F&F pulled this off without a hitch.

Looking back on our 10 days in Ireland, I feel foolish for worrying because F&F had everything covered. I gave minimal instructions to the staff at F&F beyond picking the courses and the areas we were to visit. My simple requirements were 1) nice accommodations, 2) great dining, and 3) ample sightseeing opportunities for the non-golfers. Everything was executed perfectly. The group commented multiple times about the quality of the restaurants that were selected. The accommodations were perfect and definitely the top in the regions where we stayed. The whole itinerary was planned with thoughtfulness and consideration for both golfers and non-golfers.

My takeaway is that F&F knows what they are doing. They can customize an itinerary to accommodate any group and will deliver on all expectations. It doesn’t take a lot of time to get them started. Just give the experts some direction and they will put together the trip of a lifetime.

We spent the flight back to the States planning our next trip to Ireland and will definitely be using F&F to orchestrate another masterpiece.

Great job, F&F, and thank you for helping to create such great memories.
